The Massive Monkees are featured on front page of The Seattle Times website. Here are a few quotes from the article that reflect their values, beliefs, and goals.
“Our goal is to maintain us, our relationship, our crew and our integrity,” said member Brysen Angeles, 28
“The group is a family,” said Jerome “Jeromeskee” Aparis, 26. “We grew up together. Family comes first. We build each other up, then we battle.”
“We have great chemistry,” said Florentino “Flow Funk” Francisco, 28. “We feed off each other.”
“You had to work harder to cultivate it,” said Mabanta, 26.
Much of what is emphasized in these quotes reflect what the Massive Monkees stand for and work towards. FRESH Kids share many of the same values. Family. Respect. Education. Style. Hustle. The Massive Monkess have definitely set a great example for everyone, and it’s nice to see such an influential group of people speak so humbly.
FRESH Kids would like to congratulate Massive Monkees on making it to ten years.
Gov. Christine Gregoire has just signed a bill that basically says a business with 3 or more people must allow customers to use any employee restrooms as long as it does not pose a security risk. Originally, the proposal was for customers with inflammatory bowel diseases with proper identification to be allowed to use employee restrooms. Now we all can.
Gov. Chris Gregoire has signed a bill that lets people have easier access to business’ bathrooms.
Gregoire signed the bill Monday and it takes effect July 26.
The original proposal required retailers without public restrooms to allow people with inflammatory bowel diseases to use employee restrooms, if they had an identification card or a letter from a doctor or nurse.
That provision remains in the new law. But it also requires businesses to allow any customer to use an employee restroom if three or more employees are working at the time, and the request doesn’t pose a security risk.
Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, testified for the bill earlier this year.

The documentary should be good TV for Lakers fans because of the access Lee received. As a result of unlimited time with Bryant before, during and after a game against the San Antonio Spurs last season, ESPN is billing Kobe Doin’ Work as “a definitive portrait” of the Lakers superstar.
