LeBron can talk the talk, walk the walk, and …chalk the chalk? In a new commercial from Nike, the MVPs are getting ready for the 2009 NBA Playoffs. LeBron gets a little too excited and performs his chalk ritual all over the place while Kobe is chillin’ the whole time. Check it out.

The Big Lebronski

LeBron James and company made a parody video of a recent Heineken commercial. The video only plays inside the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, but it made it onto YouTube and it was even aired during the NBA Playoffs last night. The Heineken commercial is posted first with the Cavs commercial parody below it. I’ll let it speak for itself.

Kobe Doin’ Work

23/04/2009

The newest Spike Lee Joint is titled “Kobe Doin’ Work: A Game in the Life.” Here are the three clips (rolled into one) that have been floating around. Kobe touches on subjects such as passing the ball, executing plays, and team personnel. It will premiere at the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival in New York on April 25, 2009, but will also air on ESPN on May 16, 2009 7:30 PM EST aka 4:30 PM PST [don't say we didn't remind you about the time difference!]. Go ahead and set your DVR now.. I’ll stop writing for a second.

Okay you back? Good.. now keep reading.

The documentary should be good TV for Lakers fans because of the access Lee received. As a result of unlimited time with Bryant before, during and after a game against the San Antonio Spurs last season, ESPN is billing Kobe Doin’ Work as “a definitive portrait” of the Lakers superstar.

If you want to read more, check this article out. And Charles Barkley speaks the truth! Q&A with Spike Lee

Charles Barkley said during a recent broadcast, “Ain’t nobody in the world can guard Kobe Bryant. The only person that has a chance against Kobe Bryant is the person you talk to when you get on your damn knees at night.”

Horse

21/04/2009

LeBron James took an L to David Kalb in a game of Horse, but both walked away with their heads up high.

Best quote of the clip: It means a lot.. I’d really like to beat [LeBron]. You know.. I’d probably put that on a resume if I beat him.
